Summary

Insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) promotes oligodendrocyte differentiation, a key process for remyelination in multiple sclerosis (MS). Zonula occludens-1 (ZO-1) protein levels increase during differentiation, suggesting its potential as a marker.
