Schizophrenia patients, particularly those not on medication, show higher corneal temperatures. Antipsychotic drugs may normalize or lower this temperature, suggesting a link between dopamine, temperature regulation, and schizophrenia.

    • Further research with larger samples is needed to understand the clinical implications for schizophrenia pathophysiology and treatment monitoring.
