Pericardial cysts are rare, benign growths. This case report details a symptomatic pericardial cyst in a 40-year-old male, successfully treated with minimally invasive surgery.

Pericardial cysts are uncommon, benign congenital anomalies of the heart.
They typically arise from the embryonic pericardium and are often asymptomatic.

The cyst was identified in the left cardiophrenic angle.
Diagnostic imaging confirmed the cystic nature and location.

Video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) was employed for the procedure.
