Elevated G protein-coupled receptor kinase-2 (GRK2) in heart failure (HF) can be monitored in lymphocytes, reflecting cardiac GRK2 levels and beta-adrenergic receptor (beta-AR) dysfunction. Lymphocyte GRK2 activity correlates with HF severity.
