Consumer-directed health care (CDH) is here. A quick look at the current health care market shows that CDH is quickly gaining a foothold. Most health plans either already offer some type of a plan or are in the midst of developing one for the next enrollment period. Early adopter health plans have gained significant market traction, gaining new employer clients on the basis of a consumer-directed health care strategy.
