[Osseous leiomyoma--a first-time description]

In a 54-year old housewife presenting with left hip pain due to a circumscribed intraosseous lesion of the femoral neck, histological assessment following resection showed a benign intraosseous leiomyoma. Years ago a diagnosis of disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis had been made.
