Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) effectively detect shockable rhythms like ventricular fibrillation (VF) and ventricular tachycardia (VT) in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. Operator compliance with procedures requires improvement for optimal AED performance.
