Abstract

Objective:

To establish a method by RP-HPLC for determination of content of Danshensu (3,4-hydroxybenzyl lacticacid) in Tongmai Oral Solution.

Methods:

The samples were separated on an ODS column Hypersil C18 (10 microm, 4.6 mm x 200 mm) with the mobile phase 0. 5% acetic acid-methanol-dimethyl formamide (99:0.5:0.5). The flow rate was 1.2 ml/min, and the detection wavelength was set at 335nm.

Results:

The average recovery of Danshensu was 98.31%, and RSD was 2. 11%.

Conclusion:

The method is efficient and accurate with a good repeatability and can be used for the quality control of Tongmai Oral Solution.
