Abstract:
This is a qualitative research that had as objectives understanding the care experience lived by the family members in the home context on their relationship with the nurse and describing a theoretical model which explains the actions and interactions performed by them within this context. The Symbolic Interactionism was used as theoretical referential and, as methodological referential, the Data Grounded Theory. With this study, it was possible to comprehend how the actions and interactions between nurse and family happen within the home context, i.e., the need of the nurse labor, the relationship established through care actions and the visualization of the nurse work and performance as a professional.
