Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the cross-situational consistency of stress response dissociations.

  • Two experimental sessions were conducted with 35 students, separated by one year.
  • Participants underwent various stressors (speech, cold pressor, video, mental arithmetics, anagrams, torture video).
  • Heart rate (HR), skin conductance level (SCL), and negative affect were recorded; dissociation scores were calculated by subtracting standardized negative affect changes from autonomic reactivity changes.
