Antibiotic use may increase the risk of Campylobacter jejuni enteritis, especially in non-immune individuals. This study found C. jejuni in 10.1% of hospitalized patients receiving antibiotics, suggesting a potential link to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

- C. jejuni enteritis could occur independently or in conjunction with C. difficile infection following antibiotic treatment.
