Efficiency of oxygen administration: sequential gas delivery versus "flow into a cone" methods

A new sequential gas delivery (SGD) oxygen mask provides high FIO2 (>0.95) at low oxygen flows (8 L/min). This efficient oxygen delivery is accurate even during increased breathing (hyperpnea).
