Abstract:
A large part of the discussion about the structure of the German healthcare system has been spent on the question of GP-based healthcare. The gate-keeping role of general practitioners is to be supported by incentives and their services are meant to be used by the insured on a voluntary basis. Within the framework of the various rules of the SBG (Title Five of the Social Code) and the Health Reform Consensus Act (GKG) a competition has started to develop about the best target-oriented models.
