Purification and Some Properties of a Xylanase from Aspergillus sydowii MG49
Abstract:
Volume 60, no. 12, p 4620-4623: errors appear to have been made in the original identification of the microorganism used in this study and in the cultures submitted in 1993 to both the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) and the Indian Institute of Microbial Technology. A resubmitted culture has now been assigned to the species Aspergillus citrinum by Dr. Frank Dugan of the ATCC. The authors have confirmed that the resubmitted culture produces xylanase, so that the major findings of the original publication remain valid. [This corrects the article on p. 4620 in vol. 60.].
