[A description of the major issues affecting psychiatric hospitalization in "Dr. A. Korn" Hospital]

From all mental health procedures, the inpatient assistance depends particularly on resources' availability. Especially in public health, this is a major problem. In the HIEAC "Dr. A. Korn", this fact is not an exception, and the gap between the intention of psychiatric internments and the effective psychiatric internments is significative. Some internments determinants are analyzed in order to illustrate the inadequate and the unnecessary ones. The main causes are mentioned, and by managing them the resource availability would be optimized.
