[Neonatal ovarian cysts. An alternative to surgery]

Ovarian cysts are diagnosed prenatally more frequently as ultrasound technology is becoming more advance. Most of these cysts are asymptomatic but some of them can cause concern, resulting in torsion and rupture. Surgery has been the procedure of choice for most authors, but others have reported spontaneous resolution of these cysts. This is illustrated in this case report.
