This study found that the TaqI A polymorphism of the dopamine receptor D2 (DRD2) gene is associated with childhood Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in boys. Specifically, allele A1 and genotype A1A1 are linked to ADHD pathogenesis.
