Background:

  • Standard monofocal IOLs provide good distance vision but limited near vision without correction.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare visual outcomes and accommodative amplitude between the Crystalens accommodating IOL and standard monofocal IOLs.

    • Further research into the mechanisms of perceived accommodation could advance accommodating IOL technology.
