Abstract:
Leiomyosarcomas are rare to arise in ovary and only 23 cases have been reported so far. They are considered to arise from components supporting the vascular elements in the hilar region. We report the case of a 75 year old lady, who was treated by resection of the tumour with hysterectomy and oophorectomy for ovarian leiomyosarcoma and followed up to six months.
