Does the C34T mutation in AMPD1 alter exercise capacity in the elderly?

The C34T mutation in the AMPD1 gene does not appear to impact functional capacity in elderly women. This study found no significant differences in exercise performance or functional tests between carriers and non-carriers of the mutation.
