Abstract:
The second fraction (SS-II) of Soyasaponins was obtained by D101A macroporous resin column chromatographic method and was determined by HPLC-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI/MS2). In the method, on-line HPLC-ESI/MS2 provided useful information about the molecular weight and the glycosyl chain of glycoside without the necessity of isolating individual compound. Six soyasaponins including A2, Ba and Bb were identified, and fragmentation pathways were proposed.
