[Further evaluation of therapeutic effects for radial optic neurotomy]

The purpose of this paper was to objectively evaluate the therapeutic effects and the complications of radial optic neurotomy (RON) in treating central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). Aiming at the limitation of indications, uncertainty of therapeutic effects and safety of this procedure, it is important to have a prospective and controlled clinical trial, to establish an evaluation system based on evidence-based medicine for evaluating the clinical effects of this procedure.
