Summary
Optimizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) for the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) requires specific diffusion parameters. Steady-state free precession (SSFP) with a diffusion moment of 100-150 mT/m(*)msec provides superior image quality for TMJ diagnostics.
