Abstract:
The evaluation of liver fibrosis plays a fundamental role in hepatology. The biopsy today remains the reference examination, however in the last years new methods for non invasive evaluation of liver fibrosis have been suggested. Their improvement could lead to replacement of liver biopsy in the immediate future.
