Summary

This case study details a conservative treatment for pediatric radicular cysts using marsupialization and a resin tube. The technique showed effective healing of the periapical lesion in a primary molar after 25 months.

A child presented with a periapical radiolucent lesion associated with the maxillary left primary second molar root.
The treatment involved extraction of the affected root, marsupialization of the cyst, and placement of a fixed resin tube.
Radiographic follow-up at twenty-five months indicated successful healing of the lesion.

Findings:

Marsupialization combined with a resin tube is an effective treatment for radicular cysts in primary teeth.
