Observation:

  • Four patients presented with diverse diseases and unusual clinical features.
  • All four patients shared the C77G polymorphism in CD45 exon 4.
  • This specific polymorphism affects CD45 splicing and lymphocyte CD45RA/CD45R0 expression.

Findings:

  • The C77G polymorphism in CD45 exon 4 was identified in all four patients.
  • This genetic variation alters lymphocyte splicing patterns.
