  • To determine if specific genital malformations correlate with particular co-occurring conditions.

  • Utilized the Vagina, Cervix, Uterus, Adnex, and Associated Malformation (VCUAM) classification system for patient categorization.
  • Conducted diagnostic workup using laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for genital malformations.
  • Employed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound to detect associated abnormalities.

Main Results:

  • Found associated abnormalities in 36% of patients with uterine malformations (VCUAM U1-4).
  • Renal system alterations were the predominant associated findings.
