Summary

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis effectively differentiates Bovine herpesvirus 5 (BoHV-5) from Bovine herpesvirus 1 (BoHV-1). This molecular tool aids in diagnosing and understanding the epidemiology of these significant bovine herpesviruses.
