Effects of EDTA on End-Point Detection Methods

Different methods, such as visual observance of metal-ion indicators, spectroscopic techniques, and potentiometric methods, can determine the endpoint of an EDTA titration.

Summary

Adjusting carcass traits like percentage retail cuts (PRC) to different endpoints can alter heritability estimates and sire rankings. Adjusting PRC to backfat (EPF) significantly changed sire rankings, suggesting it may represent a different trait.
