Summary

Multiple system atrophy (MSA) patients exhibit impaired temporal discrimination threshold (TDT), impacting kinesthetic sensation and motor control. This heightened TDT correlates with bradykinesia, suggesting nigrostriatal pathway involvement in MSA.

  • Cerebellar function was evaluated with the International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale (ICARS).
