Abstract:
From flowers and leaves of GENTIANA PEDICELLATA (Gentianaceae), two new iridoids, 4'- P-coumaroyl loganic acid and 4'- P-coumaroyl loganin, have been isolated along with the known iridoid, loganic acid. This is the first report of iridoid glucosides with the 4'-oxygen of the glucose moiety esterified.
