Nodule detection in 3D chest CT images using 2nd order autocorrelation features

We developed a new method to detect small lung nodules (<7mm) in 3D CT scans using autocorrelation and regression analysis. This approach achieved a 94% true-positive rate, improving early lung cancer detection.
