Vitreous findings in optic disc pit maculopathy based on optical coherence tomography

Summary

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) detected vitreous abnormalities in 74% of optic disc pit maculopathy cases. These findings, including vitreomacular traction and posterior vitreous detachment, suggest the vitreous plays a key role in macular elevation.
