Bladder involvement in metastatic breast carcinoma.

Summary

Background:

Breast carcinoma metastasis to the urinary bladder is an uncommon clinical finding.
Existing literature suggests a potential recent increase in reported cases of bladder involvement by breast cancer.

Observation:

This report details three additional cases of women diagnosed with vesical deposits secondary to metastatic breast carcinoma.
The clinical presentation and prognostic significance of these rare occurrences were examined.

Findings:

The study discusses the relationship between bladder metastases from breast cancer and progesterone and estrogen receptor expression.
Analysis of these factors may provide insights into the underlying mechanisms and clinical behavior of such metastases.
