Low carbohydrate, high fat diet increases C-reactive protein during weight loss

Weight loss diets impact inflammation differently. A low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet increased C-reactive protein (CRP), a key inflammation marker, while a high-carbohydrate, low-fat diet reduced it. Oxidative stress was not linked to these changes.
