Abstract:
Acute and chronic polyradiculoneuropathies are described in this review, both treatable uncommon forms of neuropathies. These diseases associate proximal and distal sensitivomotor involvement. Their onset can be acute or chronic. Both forms are dysimmune. Their treatment are based on immuno-modulation and immuno-suppression in chronic forms. Work-up sequence and therapeutical modes are discussed in the light of recently published data, with a special interest on pain management and early rehabilitation.
