[Experimental research on anti-inflammatory effects of Fu' an oral liquid]
1Central Station of Chinese Medicinal Materials Information, State Food and Drug Administration, Guangzhou 510080, China.
Objective:
To study the anti-inflammatory effects of Fu' an oral liquid ( FAOL).
Methods:
The three experimental groups were administrated with FAOL of low, medium and high dosages, while the positive groups were given with aspirin and dexamethasone, and the control group was fed with distilled water. The effects of FAOL on the mice and rats were observed.
Results:
FAOL could evidently inhibit the increase of celiac capillary permeability caused by acetic acid in mice and reduce the swelling of adjuvant arthritis in rats induced by injecting methanal and egg serum. It could also inhibit the proliferation of granulation tissue induced by cotton-pellet in rats.
Conclusion:
FAOL has certain anti-inflammatory effects on acute and chronic inflammation.
