Background:

Malignant cardiac tumors are rare and present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.
Primary cardiac sarcomas require specific characterization for effective management.

Observation:

A case of primary cardiac sarcoma located in the right ventricle is presented.
The tumor was surgically debulked via minimal invasive right thoracotomy as a palliative measure.

Findings:

Histological and clinical features of the primary cardiac sarcoma were characterized.
The palliative surgical approach did not significantly alter the poor prognosis associated with malignant cardiac tumors.

Implications:

Individualized approaches to malignant cardiac tumors, including palliative surgery, are crucial.
