Abstract:
Bone involvement in cysticercosis is a rare occurrence. A case of cysticercosis of the frontal orbital bone in a thirty-year-old female is reported. The diagnosis was established by computerized tomographic scanning of the orbit and histopathological examination of the cyst, surgically removed from the cavity in the orbital plate of the frontal bone. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of cysticercosis of the bony orbit.
