Subarachnoid hemorrhage following uneventful thyroid orbital decompression

A rare complication of subarachnoid hemorrhage and brain ischemia occurred after orbital decompression surgery for thyroid-related immune orbitopathy. This serious complication, though uncommon, warrants consideration in patient management and monitoring post-operatively.

- Clinicians should maintain a high index of suspicion for subarachnoid hemorrhage and ischemia in patients with thyroid-related immune orbitopathy post-surgery.
