Abstract:
Results of treatment of one patient with multiple cancer of colon and the efficacy of laparoscopic surgical methods for synchronous tumors of colon are analyzed. It is revealed that laparoscopic technologies for colon resection reduce surgical trauma. Short- and long-term results demonstrate high level of patient's life quality; recurrence-free period was 3 years. It is concluded that mini-invasive technologies are appropriate and effective for the treatment of colorectal cancer.
