Abstract:
The clinical efficacy of multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) in aortic lesions has improved in leaps and bounds. Using 64-slice MSCT with ECG-gating, it is possible to obtain scans that simultaneously achieve ultra-high-speed scanning, wide area scanning, and high-resolution data acquisition, thereby facilitating the routinization of isotropic data acquisition and a reduction in cardiac motion artifacts. Computed tomography coronary angiography (CTCA) using 64-slice MSCT is very useful for the preoperative and postoperative assessment of coronary arteries.
