Randomized controlled study of biocompatible peritoneal dialysis solutions: effect on residual renal function

Biocompatible dialysis solutions did not show significant benefits in preserving residual kidney function (RRF) over standard solutions in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients during a one-year study. Further research is needed to assess long-term effects.
