Summary

A rare case of hip joint ganglion causing external iliac artery compression and peripheral arterial disease symptoms is presented. Surgical removal of the ganglion and arterial reconstruction led to a full recovery, with no recurrence after 30 months.

  • This case highlights an unprecedented cause of external iliac artery compression by a hip joint ganglion.
  • It underscores the importance of considering rare etiologies in compressive syndromes affecting major arteries.
  • Successful surgical management demonstrates the efficacy of ganglion resection and vascular reconstruction for this condition.
