Duration of complex partial seizures: an intracranial EEG study

Complex partial seizures originating from the mesial temporal lobe are significantly longer than those from neocortical extratemporal regions. This finding may stem from bilateral seizure propagation or network differences in mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE).
