  • Viscoexpression of the anterior chamber cysts under general anesthesia was performed.
  • Complete resolution of the fibrinous anterior uveitis and normalization of intraocular pressure were observed post-operatively.

Implications:

  • This case highlights cysticercus cellulosae as a potential cause of severe anterior uveitis with secondary glaucoma.
  • Surgical removal of intraocular cysts is an effective treatment for resolving associated ocular inflammation and complications.
