Advanta facial implants

Advanta facial implants represent a new method of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) technology and appear to be different from previous ePTFE products. The implants appear to work well when used for lip augmentation. The author has 18 months' experience with this implant. Placement of these implants is simple and predictable. The complication rate is low and the implants are serviceable. The procedure is reversible without extensive damage to normal tissue. The Advanta facial implant appears to be a useful option in the armamentarium of the cosmetic oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
