Abstract:
The introduction of the acid-tech technique and the development of dentine bonding agents have been major steps forward in adhesive dentistry. However, the adhesion provided by the current dentine bonding resins is still inadequate to withstand many of the stresses encountered in clinical practice. The authors review the adhesive agents currently available, and the published evidence about their performance.
