The transitional phases of implant-perio-prostheses with root-form implants

The functional, aesthetic and periodontal integrity of any implant reconstruction depends on good prosthetic planning. Three clinical concepts used to increase control and the predictability of prognosis and outcome are described in this article: the use of templates in the early phase of treatment, temporization or provisionalization during the second transitional phase, and "jumping" the case in the final transitional phase.
