Summary

The novel reagent 2-(1H-benzotriazol-1-yl)-1,1,3,3,-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate (HBTU) significantly improves Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. It enables rapid, efficient single-coupling reactions, even for challenging amino acid residues.
